AFTERCARE

Each client’s skin responds differently to these treatments. This information acts as a guideline only.

How to care for your new tattoo:
Congratulations on your new tattoo.

Now you can sit back, relax, and do nothing - seriously.

We have had the best results with this simple healing method and it makes it easier for everyone. We recommend leaving the protective wrap on for 3-5 days.

After taking the wrap off: In the shower, use warm water and antibacterial soap to remove all the gunk on the surface of the tattoo with your hands. It's just plasma, excess ink and sweat but it needs to be washed off. Pat the area dry and apply a THIN layer of the A&D ointment that has been supplied to you. Keep it out of the sun throughout the healing process. Keep the area clean and let it breathe.

What to expect:
Immediately following your procedure, the tattooed area will appear to be darker and bolder in colour and more sharply defined. This can last up to a week after the scab fallen off.

During the initial healing period, there should be minimal scabbing or flaking of the skin. If there is some scabbing or flaking, do not pick, and allow the scab or dry skin to come off on its own.

The complete healing process takes about 10-21 days. They will be red, swollen, and sore for the first couple of days, then they should tighten and dry out, and a thin, flaky scab will form.

What not to do:
Never use a alcohol based products on fresh tattoos.

Do not touch a fresh tattoo unless you have cleaned your hands first.

Never allow fresh tattoos to come into contact with pet hair or saliva, bathroom towels, tight clothing or anything that could harbor bacteria.

Never pick scabs/flakes off your tattoo.

There are no implied or written guarantees if you do not take care of your tattoo.
